Planting Hope focuses on Venezuela because many communities continue to face serious shortages of food, medicine, and essential resources.
Our founder was born in Venezuela and has lived in the United States since 1990. Over the years, he has witnessed the steady decline in the quality of life for countless families and vulnerable communities.
Planting Hope was created in response to that reality — to bring relief, compassion, and hope to those facing difficult circumstances, through collaborating nonprofits and community-driven support efforts.
More than 70% of Venezuelan households continue to live in poverty.
